1. What Roomeo is
Roomeo is a platform that helps students discover sublease listings and connect with other users. We are not a landlord, broker, or property manager. We do not guarantee listings, users, or rental outcomes.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile reasonably up to date when posting or seeking housing.
3. Listings and messages
Users are solely responsible for the content they post (including listings, photos, and messages). You must not post false, misleading, discriminatory, harassing, or illegal content. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms or threaten community safety.
4. Payments and leases
Roomeo does not process rent or security deposits. Any agreement, payment, or lease is strictly between you and the other party. Always verify housing and people in person and follow your school’s and local housing rules.
5. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roomeo and its operators are not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from your use of the platform or interactions with other users.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes may be highlighted in the product when practical.
